Terms of Service for Candidates

Last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms apply when you apply for a role or create a candidate profile on TEDGE Recruitment, operated by TEDGE Human Capital Management (“TEDGE”, “we”). Employers are covered by separate terms.

1. Using TEDGE as a candidate

You can browse open roles without an account, apply as a guest or with a profile, save a CV for one-click applying, and set up job alerts. You must be at least 18 years old.

2. Always free for candidates

TEDGE never charges candidates for applying, for being shortlisted or for being hired. If anyone asks you for money in our name, do not pay and tell us at info@tedgeltd.com.

3. Your information

  • What you give us — your details, CV and answers — must be true, accurate and your own. Do not upload anyone else’s CV or anything unlawful.
  • Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.

4. What happens when you apply

When you apply, you ask us to share your application — your name, contact details, CV and any details you entered — with TEDGE staff and with the employer who posted that role. We do not share it with other employers because of one application. You can tick the consent box on the application form only if you agree to this.

5. AI-assisted screening

We use AI to read CVs, score how well they match a role and summarise strengths and gaps. This helps recruiters and employers work through many applications. A score is an aid, not a decision about you: on roles managed by TEDGE a recruiter reviews candidates, and on Self-service roles the employer decides. AI can be wrong. If you think you were assessed unfairly, email us and we will arrange a human review.

6. No guarantee

Applying does not guarantee an interview or a job. Employers make their own hiring decisions, and we do not control them.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the platform: no false applications, spam, automated scraping, attempts to access other people’s data or anything that disrupts the service. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

8. Your data and your rights

How we collect, use, share and keep your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, including how to see, correct or delete it. You can delete your account and data yourself from your profile settings. Applications you already sent stay with the employers you applied to, shown as “Deleted candidate”, as the Privacy Policy explains.

9. Intellectual property

You keep ownership of your CV. You allow us to store, copy and process it, and to share it as described above, so that we can run the service.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, TEDGE is not responsible for an employer’s decisions or for loss that results from them, and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. They are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction, without affecting rights you have as a consumer or data subject that cannot be waived.
