Terms of Service for Employers

Last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms apply when a company (“you”) uses TEDGE Recruitment, operated by TEDGE Human Capital Management (“TEDGE”, “we”). By creating an account or posting a role you accept them. Candidates are covered by separate terms.

1. Our services

TEDGE Recruitment helps employers find and hire people. You choose between two plans for each role:

  • Self-service — a flat price per role. Your role is published on the TEDGE job board once paid, applicants are screened and ranked by AI, and you review them in your portal. No TEDGE recruiter reviews them.
  • Managed by TEDGE — you pick the steps you need: CV sourcing (shortlist), Screening (AI + human), Interviews + scheduling, and Hiring + onboarding. A TEDGE recruiter reviews and publishes the role and carries out the steps you bought.

2. Your account

You confirm that you are authorised to act for the company you register. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done through it, including by colleagues you invite.

3. Posting roles

  • What you post must be accurate, lawful and a genuine vacancy. It must not discriminate on grounds such as gender, religion, nationality, disability or age, unless the law allows it.
  • You must not charge candidates any fee for applying or being hired.
  • We may edit, decline or remove a role that breaks these terms or that we reasonably consider misleading. If we decline a role we tell you why.
  • You allow us to publish your role, and your company name where you choose to show it, on the TEDGE job board and on the channels used by your plan.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in the price list for the level of the role (Junior, Mid or Senior) and the currency you choose. The price shown when you submit the role is the price you pay.
  • You can pay online by card through our payment provider, Paymob, or by bank transfer or InstaPay. Some currencies are charged in US dollars at checkout, and we tell you before you pay.
  • On split payment plans the second installment falls due when its trigger happens (your first shortlist is shared, or a candidate is hired) and is invoiced then.
  • Invoices are payable within the period shown on the invoice. Prices may exclude taxes; where a tax applies it is shown on the invoice.
  • If an invoice is not paid on time we may pause work on the role until it is.

5. Refunds and replacement

Refunds and the replacement guarantee are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. AI-assisted screening and human review

We use AI to read CVs, score how well they match a role and summarise strengths and gaps. The score is an aid, not a decision. On Managed roles a TEDGE recruiter reviews candidates before they are shared with you. On Self-service roles no TEDGE person reviews them, and the decision to shortlist or reject is yours. AI can make mistakes, so do not rely on a score alone.

7. Candidate introductions and non-solicitation

A candidate is “introduced by TEDGE” if, through the Managed service, we shared their profile with you in a shortlist, arranged an interview with them, or otherwise identified them to you through our sourcing. Candidates who simply apply to a Self-service role and are hired through your TEDGE portal are covered by the flat price and are not subject to this section.

  • The obligation. If you, or any company in your group, hire or engage an introduced candidate directly (as an employee, contractor or consultant) outside the TEDGE platform within 12 months of the date we introduced them, you agree to pay TEDGE a placement fee. No fee is due if you have already paid for the Managed Hiring + onboarding step for that hire.
  • “Group” means any company that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with you.
  • The fee. The placement fee is a fixed amount equal to TEDGE’s full Managed process price (all four steps) for the level of that role, at the date of the hire, less any amounts you have already paid for that role. It is not a percentage of salary.
  • Exceptions. No fee is due if you can show, with written evidence, that you were already in documented discussions with the candidate before we introduced them, or that the candidate applied to you independently through a channel unconnected to TEDGE.
  • Notice and payment. Tell us in writing within 7 days of making the hire. We will invoice the fee, and it is payable within 14 days of the invoice.
  • Candidates are free. Nothing here restricts any candidate from taking a job. It only governs what the employer owes TEDGE.
  • Reasonableness. The parties agree that the fee is a fair estimate of TEDGE’s costs and lost income and is not a penalty.

8. Candidate data and confidentiality

Candidate information we share with you is personal data. You may use it only to assess and hire for the role it was shared for, you must keep it confidential and secure, and you must delete it when you no longer need it, unless the law requires you to keep it. You must comply with applicable data protection law, including Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and, where it applies, the GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for how TEDGE handles data.

9. Intellectual property

TEDGE owns the platform, its design and its content. You own the role descriptions and company information you provide and give us the right to use them to deliver the service.

10. Disclaimers and liability

We work carefully but cannot guarantee that a role will be filled, or that a candidate’s information is complete or accurate; candidates describe themselves. To the extent the law allows, TEDGE is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim relating to a role is limited to the amount you paid us for that role. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or misuse the platform. Sections that by their nature should continue — payment, non-solicitation, confidentiality and liability — continue after the account is closed.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the portal before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Using the service after the change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction, without affecting any rights you have as a consumer or data subject that cannot be waived.
